One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hogwarts Superior could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Abella, Hogwarts Superior, Impatient Velvet, Grasping Breeze, Rumbling Runner, Climbing Knight, Glamorous Cookie, Nzonzi.




Hogwarts Superior sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Rumbling Runner suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hogwarts Superior followed by Glamorous Cookie and Impatient Velvet. Lane two Climbing Knight followed by Abella and Rumbling Runner.




Hogwarts Superior kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Abella galoped for 20 m. Hogwarts Superior were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Climbing Knight won the race after a spectacular finish.
