Start List
Only a humble breeze blew over Lahti this day. The track where in perfect shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Counterfeit Cookie found a gap and took the lead. Narkissos Brodde followed before Devine Flower. Sowing Peach quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Devine Flower showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sowing Peach followed by Necrophobia and Counterfeit Cookie. Lane two Carlos Amarone followed by Narkissos Brodde and Devine Flower. Carlos Amarone suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Sowing Peach made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Counterfeit Cookie. Results
