Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Forus track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Maid In France tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Narkissos Jet that came steaming ahead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Maid In France sprinted to the front. Serges Skärp Cherry looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Narkissos Jet couldn't come out from behind the leader, Maid In France. Narkissos Stone was disturbed and galoped 40 m.
