One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Cri Pour Moi found a gap and took the lead. Sleepy Peach followed before Lady Of Winning. The Watergirl suddenly started to galop. Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get The Watergirl to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Lady Of Winning was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Jacobsens Law, Laxviks Valetta Princess, Travelling Carneval, Emlyn Hughes Justice, Storm Pegasos, Chico Chaco, Sleepy Peach, The Watergirl.

Travelling Carneval looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Laxviks Valetta Princess couldn't come out from behind the leader, Jacobsens Law. Storm Pegasos suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Zegepraal Tenslotte galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Travelling Carneval accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Travelling Carneval kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Cri Pour Moi was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.

Travelling Carneval sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Storm Pegasos galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.
