One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Josefini Cov Cherry tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Elisha Scott Justice that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Cerle Mires started to galop and lost 30 m.




Rugged Sergeant saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Josefini Cov Cherry took the lead after 1000m. Rugged Sergeant didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Cerle Mires looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Cerle Mires sat safely in the lead after 2000m.




There was a new leader after 2500m, Rugged Sergeant.



Rugged Sergeant kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Cerle Mires won the race after a spectacular finish.
