The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Yeocomico sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Wolly Fiesta sprinted to the front.




Overdækket sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Wolly Fiesta accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Wolly Fiesta looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Overdækket made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Yeocomico.
