The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Counterfeit Cookie took the lead after a very quick start.




Knightly Flower saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Sad Rocker took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sad Rocker followed by Spirito Di Amore and Knightly Flower. Lane two Tripping Fiesta followed by Counterfeit Cookie and Stifling Cookie.



Tripping Fiesta suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Counterfeit Cookie galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Tripping Fiesta kept the speed the whole finish and won before Spirito Di Amore and Sad Rocker.
