One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carlos Batseba took the lead after a very quick start.




Melancholy Collector quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Melancholy Collector was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Propulsion saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Halfwas seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Halfwas was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Modestine litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Propulsion made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Modestine.
