It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Fred Weasley Superior sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sowing Moonlight sprinted to the front. The leader got disturbed by something and Josefini Cov Cherry took the lead rather easily.
