Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Expensive Witch sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Radiating Pie was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Cold Princess, Radiating Pie, Expensive Witch, Electric Twister, Moonlight Nutcracker, Running Bouquet, , .




Expensive Witch took the lead after 1000m. Cold Princess didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Moonlight Nutcracker galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Cold Princess saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Electric Twister put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Radiating Pie litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Electric Twister won the race after a spectacular finish.
