One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Don Quijote was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Anna-Karin Rundqvist wanted a little to much in the start and Sleepy Meadow galoped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Sleepy Meadow, King Force, Don Quijote, Misfit, Huxa Nova, Pinstripe´s Mega Mee, Soldato, Running Cookie.




Misfit took the lead after 1000m. King Force didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Soldato looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Pinstripe´s Mega Mee was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Don Quijote litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Don Quijote didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
