One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beaufort tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Knightly Flower that came steaming ahead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Vuur Van Parel sprinted to the front. Qwerty was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Vuur Van Parel followed by Beaufort and Frosty Carneval. Lane two Knightly Flower followed by Craig Johnston Justice and Blushing Crystal. Vuur Van Parel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
