One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Backstabbing Diamond sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Allison was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




Backstabbing Diamond was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Allison was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Backstabbing Diamond followed by Travelling Rose and Daylight. Lane two Carlos Bib followed by Blue Jeans and Allison.



Backstabbing Diamond sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Daylight never caught up with Backstabbing Diamond who won. Blue Jeans came third.
