One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Beyond This Earth tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Devine Mistress that came steaming ahead. Devine Mistress suddenly started to galop. Björn Goop had to struggle to get Devine Mistress to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Eirik Høitomt wanted a little to much in the start and Pink Daffodil galoped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Avalanche Course, Red Glitter, Beyond This Earth, Pink Daffodil, Tiny Action, Devine Mistress, Alfred Palema, Shooting Runner. A bird flew just in front of Smiling Wonder who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Avalanche Course clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Devine Mistress suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Avalanche Course followed by Beyond This Earth and Tiny Action. Lane two Pink Daffodil followed by Red Glitter and Shooting Runner.

Avalanche Course sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Pink Daffodil sprinted over the finishline before Shooting Runner and Tiny Action.
