One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wandering Cake took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Rockymeetsrambo looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sweeping Desert couldn't come out from behind the leader, Wandering Cake.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Wandering Cake today. It continued in the lead.



Wandering Cake kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Rockymeetsrambo sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
