Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Sunflower found a gap and took the lead. Luxe Réjouir followed before Banditen Supra. When the startcar left the field Alternative Rock started to galop and lost 50 m.




Modestine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Shooting Band started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Modestine clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Walking Sunflower saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Walking Sunflower were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winner of todays race was Walking Sunflower. Shining Rose came in second. Suitcase Matthew became third.
