One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rugged Sergeant sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Sowing Moonlight quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Helpful General looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Rugged Sergeant couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sowing Moonlight. Elisha Scott Justice galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Sowing Moonlight was still in the lead after 1500m.



Sowing Moonlight kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sokeri sprinted over the finishline before Dirkshorn and Sowing Moonlight.
