It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lone Sniper found a gap and took the lead. Crossing Wind followed before Irsih Rose.




Rugged Devil quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Dancing Midnight took the lead after 1000m. Rugged Devil didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Dancing Midnight was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Crossing Wind galoped for 50 m. Dancing Midnight kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Crossing Wind to trotting so they were disqualified.




Lone Sniper made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Dancing Midnight.
