It had been raining for several days at Forus but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Golden Bomb could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Heathcote clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Sid Kipley Cherry saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Sid Kipley Cherry kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Heathcote won. Lützen Larockma came in second. Sid Kipley Cherry caught third place.
