One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Minette Du Lilas sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Tripping Necklace showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




This is the positions after 500m. Sleeping Gold, Minette Du Lilas, Sudden Star, Glorious Sunset, Âme Charitable, Singing Heat, Tripping Necklace, . Tripping Necklace started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Glorious Sunset took the lead rather easily. Tripping Necklace suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Glorious Sunset followed by Sleeping Gold and Âme Charitable. Lane two Minette Du Lilas followed by Sudden Star and Singing Heat. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sleeping Gold gallopped for 30 m. Sudden Star galloped way to long and was disqualified.



With only a little left of the race Glorious Sunset galoped for 30 m. Minette Du Lilas was first on the homestretch followed by Sleeping Gold and Glorious Sunset.






Sleeping Gold won the race after a spectacular finish.
