Only a humble breeze blew over Kauhava this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Snatcher took the lead after a very quick start.




Gold New Moon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and The Safety Dance took the lead rather easily. Snatcher suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop The Safety Dance today. It continued in the lead.




The Safety Dance didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



The Safety Dance looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Snatcher sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
