One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Heavy Band took the lead after a very quick start. The Hunter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Brown Bandwagon who started to galop and lost 50 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Heavy Rock took the lead rather easily. The Hunter never caught up with Heavy Rock who won. Heavy Band came third. Results
