The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Viper was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Modestine was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Turn It Over, Araben, Calle Lewis On Fire, Daisy May, Daiquiri Hof, Modestine, Fast Action, Perfect Viper.




Daiquiri Hof looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Modestine couldn't come out from behind the leader, Turn It Over. Fast Action suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Daiquiri Hof accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Daiquiri Hof looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Araben won. Modestine came in second. Perfect Viper caught third place.
