The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Domandare found a gap and took the lead. Bompard followed before Cornichon.




Bompard saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Bompard who started to galop and lost 10 m. Cornichon showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Bompard was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bompard followed by Domandare and In My Soul. Lane two Walking Arraow followed by Red Glitter and Cornichon.



With only a little left of the race Walking Arraow galoped for 30 m. Bompard kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Magnus Jakobsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Cornichon started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Domandare made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Bompard.
