The sun was shining on Lycksele and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Shining Glam tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Thicker Than Water that came steaming ahead. Rennend Fort quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Rennend Fort clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Rennend Fort was still in the lead after 1500m. Rennend Fort kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Shining Glam was first on the homestretch followed by Rennend Fort and Thicker Than Water. Rennend Fort sprinted over the finishline before Shining Glam and Thicker Than Water. Results
