One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Jolly Duchess. The Connection ended up behind the leader. Golden Band got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pas De Promettre sprinted to the front.




Sauron took the lead after 1000m. Jolly Duchess didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Pas De Promettre suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sauron followed by Golden Band and Pas De Promettre. Lane two Jolly Duchess followed by The Connection and .



Sauron kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sauron kept the speed the whole finish and won before Jolly Duchess and The Connection.
