The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Arvika this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Laxviks Nyponbuske could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Shy Scout galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Laxviks Nyponbuske galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Climbing Moment clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Spirito Di Amore suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Climbing Moment followed by Wimpy Forest and My Little Coktail. Lane two Toronto Maiden followed by Sad Needle and Malvinas.

Climbing Moment kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Malvinas was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Climbing Moment were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Wimpy Forest never caught up with Climbing Moment who won. Toronto Maiden came third.
