Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Vaasa track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ableitung Sängerin found a gap and took the lead. Popcornia followed before Millers Law.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Popcornia sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Sergeant Asteroid who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Millers Law looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ableitung Sängerin couldn't come out from behind the leader, Popcornia.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Popcornia followed by Ableitung Sängerin and Cosmic Rhapsody. Lane two Millers Law followed by Sergeant Asteroid and Orabell.




Popcornia sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Popcornia kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Ableitung Sängerin sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
