The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Trembling Maid tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Knightly Flower that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




The leader got disturbed by something and Trembling Maid took the lead rather easily.




Trembling Maid was still in the lead after 1500m.




Trembling Maid sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Trembling Maid kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Loving General sprinted over the finishline before Knightly Flower and Trembling Maid.
