Only a humble breeze blew over Halmstad this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sleepy Meadow tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Goofy Red that came steaming ahead. Holy Rose was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sleepy Meadow sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Buaillon looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Goofy Red suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Grain won. Goofy Red came in second. Sleepy Meadow caught third place.
