The sun was shining on Lieksa and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Quick Work. Canneroni ended up behind the leader. Neon Godiva got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. This is the positions after 500m. Loyal Universe, Canneroni, Neon Godiva, Quick Work, Rambler Rebel, , , . Neon Godiva looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Quick Work couldn't come out from behind the leader, Loyal Universe. Neon Godiva accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Rambler Rebel galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Neon Godiva sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Loyal Universe won. Quick Work came in second. Neon Godiva caught third place. Results
