One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Angel found a gap and took the lead. Old Ship followed before Bounce Back.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Great Weight looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Perfect Temptress couldn't come out from behind the leader, Punching Angel.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Punching Angel today. It continued in the lead.




Punching Angel didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Punching Angel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Great Weight never caught up with Nero Diavolo who won. Punching Angel came third.
