The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Årjäng this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Paradoks could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Flickering Princess was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Fast Runner galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Cri Pour Moi quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Golden Madness was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Fast As A Rocket took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fast As A Rocket followed by Påarps Arne and Paradoks. Lane two Påarps Agnetha followed by Victoire Victorieux and Flickering Princess.

Fast As A Rocket kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Golden Madness galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Fast As A Rocket kept the speed the whole finish and won before Paradoks and Påarps Arne.
