The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Sodankylä this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rave In Eden took the lead after a very quick start.




Decisive Force saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Rave In Eden took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rave In Eden followed by Decisive Force and . Lane two General Night followed by Sad Cherry and . Sad Cherry galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Rave In Eden didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Rave In Eden sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Rave In Eden. General Night came in second. Decisive Force became third.
