The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Notre Musique sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Athletic Mind quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Notre Musique started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Notre Musique took the lead rather easily.




Falling Stardust accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Notre Musique took the lead.



Notre Musique were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Athletic Mind never caught up with Notre Musique who won. Falling Stardust came third.
