The sun was shining on Östersund and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tranquil Lilac could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Ghostly Sky started to galop and lost 10 m.




Goofy Thought quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Goofy Thought followed by Tranquil Lilac and Myrtille. Lane two Holy Breeze followed by Ghostly Sky and .



Goofy Thought were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Goofy Thought didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
