Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Halmstad track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Steel Knight took the lead after a very quick start. Punching Strategy suddenly started to galop. Jörgen Sjunnesson had to struggle to get Punching Strategy to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Punching Strategy sprinted to the front.




Maurice Greene sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Spurs On Fire suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Maurice Greene was still in the lead after 1500m.



Spurs On Fire was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Steel Knight litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Steel Knight kept the speed the whole finish and won before Muscle Rebel and Maurice Greene.
