One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Kafkas Law tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hard Rock that came steaming ahead. Tom Horpestad wanted a little to much in the start and Stepping Pixie galoped for 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Prima Spring sprinted to the front.

Kafkas Law sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Flower Electra galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Stepping Pixie galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Kafkas Law followed by Eternal Pearl and Prima Spring. Lane two Hard Rock followed by Big A and Striking Nova.

Hard Rock put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Striking Nova gallopped 30 m after 2000m.

Hard Rock was safely in the lead after 2500m. Striking Nova gallopped 20 m after 2500m.

Hard Rock kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Kafkas Law, 2 Hard Rock, 3 Eternal Pearl.
