The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sportiva Napoli. Melissa ended up behind the leader. Playing Thinker got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Playing Thinker started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Rascasse sprinted to the front.




Goofy Cake sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Stinger Rebel was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Goofy Cake followed by Melissa and Playing Thinker. Lane two Sportiva Napoli followed by Vraag and Stinger Rebel. Stinger Rebel started to gallop after 1500m and John Ö Jensen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Goofy Cake was still in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Melissa galoped for 30 m. Goofy Cake were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Melissa made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Sportiva Napoli.
