One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Cheerful Lion took the lead after a very quick start. Harderwijk was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Mein Wunsch sprinted to the front.

Mein Wunsch was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Giunchi accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Beaufort was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Cheerful Lion speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Giunchi won the race after a spectacular finish.
