Only a humble breeze blew over Kokemäki this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bianco Colomba could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Honourable Blast suddenly started to galop. Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen had to struggle to get Honourable Blast to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




Franco Nero quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Honourable Blast galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Heavenly Flower looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Alfalfa couldn't come out from behind the leader, Franco Nero.




Alfalfa looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Heavenly Flower galoped for 50 m. Sun Tzu was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Franco Nero speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Franco Nero didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
