One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Awakening found a gap and took the lead. Ferocious Power followed before Trembling Venus. Hard Energy galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Soient Mieux Bon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Honourable Boulder who started to galop and lost 10 m.




The Awakening sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop The Awakening today. It continued in the lead.




The Awakening didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Dribbling Boy galoped for 40 m. The Awakening were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Trembling Venus sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
