One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sneaking Wave could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Cabo Verde started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Miss Nutmeg looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Emmentaler Hof couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sneaking Wave. Misconception galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sneaking Wave followed by Cabo Verde and Emmentaler Hof. Lane two Miss Nutmeg followed by Misconception and Honourable Boulder.



Sneaking Wave sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Sneaking Wave kept the speed the whole finish and won before Misconception and Miss Nutmeg.
