The weather had been good all week and Kannus was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Waanzinnig was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Stretching Meadow sprinted to the front.




Snickelisnack sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Hoping Stone accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Stretching Meadow galoped for 10 m. Hoping Stone were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Winston Volcano sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
