The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Lindesberg this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Asche Zu Asche could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Eddie Opal accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Eddie Opal didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Neon Darkness was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



Eddie Opal looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Eddie Opal kept the speed the whole finish and won before Asche Zu Asche and Pietro Gambadilegno.
