One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Prince Lightning could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Playing Orchid was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Prince Lightning was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Prince Lightning today. It continued in the lead.




Prince Lightning was still in the lead after 2000m.



Waterproof was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Playing Orchid suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Prince Lightning made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Playing Orchid.
