Only a humble breeze blew over Kaukonen this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nouveau Triomphe could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Turning Blossom, Roll The Trac, Cuda Rebel, Perfect Temptress, Surprise, Nouveau Triomphe, Crossing Heat, .




The leader got disturbed by something and Nouveau Triomphe took the lead rather easily.




Surprise saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Nouveau Triomphe litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Cuda Rebel won. Nouveau Triomphe came in second. Surprise caught third place.
