The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kannus this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lauréat could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Mosh saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Lauréat sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Lauréat kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Markku Nieminen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Lauréat started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Mosh won the race after a spectacular finish.
