One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mimoun was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Tommy Zackrisson wanted a little to much in the start and Puygrenier galoped for 40 m.

Mimoun didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Mimoun kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Puygrenier sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
