The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bergman Hof could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Björn Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Toronto Maiden galoped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Bergman Hof started to galop and lost 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Toronto Maiden looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that La Môme Piaf couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bergman Hof.

Bergman Hof sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






La Môme Piaf won. Bergman Hof came in second. Toronto Maiden caught third place.
